Project description

In this project, two students are working with their mentor on a research project that studies the ecosystem and biodiversity in the Galápagos islands. Through learning about species evolution and environmental factors, the students will be preparing for their field trip to the Galápagos this summer, and their project was to draft and design a research proposal, as well as to complete the field trip write-up after the summer.

Project outcome

The students will be carrying out their research proposal during their field trip to the Galápagos islands over the summer and will submitting their post-trip writeup and paper to the Journal of Youths in Science.
